A public-awareness page from AQUA FLAME
What’s hiding inside your water heater?
Every gallon of water that fills your tank carries dissolved minerals. Heat makes those minerals drop out and settle. Day after day, year after year, they pile up on the bottom of the tank as a chalky white crust — out of sight, doing slow damage the whole time.
You can’t see it from the outside. The tank looks fine. The water still comes out hot — until the day it doesn’t, or the heater gives out years before it should.
A flush drains the water. We remove the sediment.

Three short films: buildup, the element, and clean
The first and third films are AQUA FLAME’s own. The middle one is an illustration, made to show what the crust does to a heating element — something no camera can film inside a closed tank.
